30 March 2022 14:00-16:30AFRY, Malmö

What global social, economic and environmental shifts we should look out for when planning our business development in the coming years?

Let's gather this March 30 to get a focused overview and discussion on the global trends in the packaging world and beyond with Jonas Svennberg from Zenit Design, Oscar Lingqvist from McKinsey & Company, and Pernilla Johansson from Swedbank Research. Digitalized value chain, changes in consumer behaviour, new actors and shortages within the material supply, new emerging work culture... These are just some of the things that bring new perspectives to our day to day routine and influence the development of the entire society, including our industry. In this event, we are going to focus on how the latest global trends are shaping future developments in packaging and logistics.

Join us on March 30 to find new ways, take a lead and adjust to a rapidly changing global reality together with other members from the Packbridge community. Do you want to get a head-start before this event? Click here for the latest reports and whitepapers from Oscar.

Not more but different: How shall we act in the antropocen?

Design as a discipline that materialises futures, is itself undergoing a transformation that holds hints for others to learn from. We know that we affect our world, ecosystems and limited resources through whatever we do and however we act.

While using someone else's waste to create a second-best solution or trying to add circular business models on existing systems may have worked out in the past, it is unlikely to lead us towards realising the regenerative visions of the future. So then, how might we be able to meet various needs that require very different systemic solutions?

Jonas Svennberg

Jonas Svennberg, CEO of Zenit Design, is an advocate for a systemic and user-centric approach when designing product-service systems. He acts as a strategic advisor for clients, lectures about design methodology and inspires design students.

His focus now is on the power of designers as facilitators in bringing together multiple stakeholders to solve wicked problems: the misconception of still seeing design as a way of making “things” good looking or usable is tiring, instead, it is more about finding collaborative and sustainable ways of tackling our current and future challenges towards great experiences.
